Good win for my VRA side over the new champs in Kampong and what a tally for Punjab. Excellent win also for Ireland Women over Zimbabwe with Gaby Lewis top score in a 118/4 total in a 6 wickets win just before the rain came. So on to the final round next week and everyone have a safe week ahead
Playoff seems interesting with all the pressure on VOC Rotterdam and therefore might play a bit conservative cricket whilst ACC have nothing to lose and will play freely. The T20’s now take centre stage just wondering why Kampong are not in the elite section as they are in the second tier of the format, please can you tell me why.
Good few weeks for Ireland Women with a T20 clean sweep of 3-0 and then ODI clean sweep 2-0 Vs Zimbabwe Women who Netherlands play in the new event in November I see along with Scotland. Then a tougher series ongoing Vs Pakistan Women and have a unassailable 2-0 lead with 1 to go at 1600 IST or 1700 Dutch Time. Looks good for the qualifiers coming up in Netherlands, still think Ireland wins it with Netherlands second and 3rd place between Germany and Italy but German Ladies are playing more than the Italian because of the League in Germany.
Also a good week for the Women’s Under 17’s in Netherlands this week winning the Tri-Series bit of a damper losing to the Scots to prevent the clean sweep. Scores was low but played on a grass wicket looking at the stream is the way to go rather than mat cricket does everyone agree. Streams were excellent all week and KNCB should be praised for staging and streaming of the event.
Ireland Women Vs Pakistan Women is tomorrow at the times stated instead and not today. Sorry for not saying that in the earlier post.
Good score at half way but feel like 15 to 20 runs light of what ACC would have hoped for. All about the chase now and 73 of 17 is good going for VOC but 2 quick wickets will put it back in the melting pot
