Topklasse Live | Round 17 | As it Happened

 Rod Lyall  20:07
So, congratulations to Excelsior on their third Topklasse title in four seasons. They did it in style, dismissing a depleted Dosti side and winning by seven wickets. And here at Nieuw Hanenburg, an outstanding individual effort from Jay Bista, backed up by half-centuries from Bob van Gigch and Jeroen Brand, has given Quick Haag some slim hope that they might yet escape relegation. But for that they not only need to beat Voorburg next week, but they need HCC to beat Sparta. You’ll be able to follow it all right here on TKcricket. (We’re also planning to cover the T20 finals day at Voorburg on Saturday.) Until then, this is Rod Lyall saying goodbye from Nieuw Hanenburg.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  19:33
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 234 all out (43.? overs)
HBS came impossibly close in the end, a remarkable recovery to take it down to the line, but fell just short. Last pair Farshad Khan and Julian de Mey took it into the last over, but ACC hold their nerve and de Mey holes out, another photo finish in a dead game.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  19:17
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 194 all out (43 overs)
Another caught and bowled for Bista, as Sardha hits back low and he dives forward to take it. And then he bowls Hoornweg to finish with six for 30 and keep Quick’s hopes of survival just about alive.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  19:22
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 224-9 (38 overs)
HBS stumbling toward the finish line, they need 16 off the last two but are down to their last wicket.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  19:18
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
VCC : 219-7 (43 overs)
Hard running and average fielding reduces the equation to two needed off the last ball, Kingma on strike. Borren wants everyone in the circle to save the single, no interest in a tie. Kingma takes a stride, swings and connects, it’s back over Borren’s head and drops down at vacant long off. Easy two. Kingma the hero, Smit also chipping in with a handy 87*.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  19:17
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 188-8 (40.4 overs)
But Bista has the penultimate, if not the last, word, as Ibrahimkhil top-edges him over his head and he runs back to take the catch. Two balls later he does the same to Usman Saleem, this time taking a difficult, wind-influenced, catch three-quarters of the way down the pitch.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  19:11
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
VCC : 203-7 (42 overs)
Three wides down leg spoil an otherwise solid penultimate over from Coooper. 16 needed off the last, Borren to bowl it of course.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  19:07
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 184-6 (36 overs)
Fifty for Navjit Singh meanwhile, 66 needed off 8 overs.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  19:05
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 177-6 (38 overs)
Sparta are starting to run out of overs as well as wickets, but Nasratullah Ibrahimkhil isn’t going to die wondering – he’s hit a brisk 13, and seems totally unintimidated by the situation, even with Bista and Dake operating.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  19:04
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
VCC : 188-7 (40.1 overs)
Smit deploys an array of ramps and dinks to take 12 off Grabe in the 29th, but Cooper gives away just 5 in the 40the. 21 needed from the final 3. Boissevain looks to slog-sweep Graber on the first ball of the 41st though and is caught on the rope. Kingma in.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  18:52
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
VCC : 171-6 (38 overs)
Smit is slogging VCC back into this game, ably supported by Boissevain who has quietly assembles a run-a-ball 33. 48 needed off 5 overs.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  18:45
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 151-4 (30 overs)
99 to get off 14 for HBS.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  18:18
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 160-6 (34.2 overs)
A very valuable stand for Sparta, this, now worth 37. Fletcher despatches two short deliveries from Van Schelven for four and six, and brings Bista back . . . and as I write this, he’s bowled by the Mumbaiker for 78. And that might well be a decisive blow, at least for the purposes of this match.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  18:38
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 160-8 (37.1 overs)
Ollie Klaus unperturbed by the mini collapse there, six and four to finish things off. HCC win by 2 wickets.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  18:35
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 111-4 (25 overs)
HBS with a mountain to climb in the meantime.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  18:28
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 149-8 (36.3 overs)
None other than Scott Edwards brought into the attack, and HCC have entirely fallen apart at the sight of him. He has 3-10 in 3 including the wickets of both set batsmen, Itagi gone for 46 and Hay for 35. Just 9 runs to get for HCC now though, arguably Seelaar has left his introduction too late.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  18:18
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 130-5 (28 overs)
Martijn Snoep is keeping Fletcher company, but one senses that for Sparta to win this Fletcher would need to produce something pretty extraordinary, at the end of what has for him been a pretty ordinary season. Snoep can hang in there, but any quick scoring is likely to come from the New Zealander.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  18:16
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
VCC : 109-5 (27 overs)
VCC notch three figures, edging up to the half-way mark, but a lot resting on the shoulders of Nic Smit. Run rate still just about manageable, but needs someone to stick with him. Nota there at the moment.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  18:14
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 136-5 (32 overs)
HCC look to have this chase well in hand, Hay still with Itagi, who’s into the 40s.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  18:05
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 123-5 (24.4 overs)
Bista’s been operating from the Pavilion End, and he strikes a vital blow by catching the edge of Buurman’s bat. Vierling does the rest, and Buurman departs for 15. Manminder Singh comes in, pushes his second ball to Ekelmans’ left at shortish extra cover, looks for the single, Ekelmans gathers, throws from a kneeling position, and beats Singh’s desperate dive.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  17:53
Quick Haag : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 112-3 (22 overs)
Diwan breaks the stumps with his hand as he delivers the ball, and from the resulting free hit Buurman plants the ball beyond recovery into the trees. Then Fletcher brings up his half-century with a top edge over keeper Vierling’s right hand. Things going Sparta’s way just at the moment.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  17:48
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 100-5 (26 overs)
Hundred up for HCC meanwhile, but they’ve lost another wicket. Overdijk gone for a duck, Hay in with Itagi now.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  17:45
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 72-1 (15 overs)
HBS rather off the pace at the moment.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  17:27
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 88-3 (17.4 overs)
And a massive wicket for both sides as well, as Bukhari heaves at Diwan and Thijs van Schelven takes a steepling catch at deep midwicket. That’s the cue for drinks.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  17:27
Quick Haag : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 85-2 (17 overs)
Fletcher is looking increasingly confident and has moved on to 38, while Bukhari, although he has had at least one life, is also keeping the scoreboard moving as well. Important partnership for both sides, this.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  17:26
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
VCC : 48-4 (14 overs)
Haseeb strikes twice in the 13, first pinning Gigani in front and then having Croes spectacularly cuaght behind by Lees two balls later. Borren follows up in the next as Florsi de Lange jams the bat down too late on a yorker only to see it roll onto the stumps. Smit and Greenshields now.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  17:24
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 86-4 (20 overs)
Itagi and Street looked to be steadying the ship for HCC, but the latter is caught off Upadhyaya on the penultimate ball of the 20th to bring Ovedijk to the crease. Advantage VOC at this point.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  16:55
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 31-1 (8 overs)
Theyhave another bout of rain in the Hague, HBS’ target now 239 in 40 overs.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  17:12
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
VCC : 41-1 (11 overs)
Croes and de Grooth had got VCC off to a solid start. but Haseeb Gul finds the breakthrough in the 11th, de Grooth cleaned up for 16. Gigani in.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  17:08
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 61-2 (11.4 overs)
De Kok hits over midwicket once too often: he clips Brand to the boundary, but Stokkers is lurking there for the catch, which he takes safely. Which brings Mudassar Bukhari to the crease.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  16:55
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
HBS : 20-1 (3 overs)
Visee starts in typically belligerent style, two sixes in his 17, but that’s as far as he’ll get today.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  16:53
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 43-1 (8 overs)
De Kok starts pretty confidently, pulling Mason for four and then, in his next over, clearing the midwicket boundary. He finishes the over with a powerful cover drive for four. Fletcher, meanwhile, is grafting away at the other end.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  16:47
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 40-3 (10 overs)
All rather academic now of course, but HCC are struggling in what is now a dead rubber against VOC. Gorlee caught off Hanif, Itagi joins Street.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  16:42
Dosti : 61 all out (31.3 overs)
Excelsior 67-3 (17.3 overs)
And van Wyk seals it with a six.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  16:41
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 24-1 (4.4 overs)
Did that incident contribute to Ali Raza’s downfall? Hard to tell, since he tends to fling the bat at everything. This time he skies a Dake delivery to extra cover, and Ekelmans comes in to take the catch. Tim de Kok in at three.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  16:41
Dosti : 61 all out (31.3 overs)
Excelsior 61-3 (17.2 overs)
Excelsior, meanwhile are one run away from the win, but a tie is enough so they have the title either way. Excelsior ’20 Schiedam are 2019 Topklasse Champions!

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  16:36
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 19-0 (4 overs)
They’re back on at Nieuw Hanenburg, and things proceed uneventfully until Raza chops a fullish delivery from Mason into his foot, and collapses onto the pitch. He makes it to the end of the over, but he’s in obvious discomfort.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  16:30
Dosti : 61 all out (31.3 overs)
Excelsior 40-3 (15 overs)
Zakhil has Verhagen caught behind to bring van Wyk to the crease. You’d say Excelsior would be in trouble under normal circumstances, but there’s just not enough on the baord to worry them really.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  16:21
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 15-0 (2 overs)
Fletcher cracks two boundaries off Mason’s first over, and then a shower forces the players from the field. Don’t think the break will be a long one.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  16:18
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 12-0 (4 overs)
Staal and Wiffen fall in consecutive overs, to Hanif and Said respectively. Gorlee and Street in now.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  16:16
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Sparta : 7-0 (1 over)
Prathamesh Dake opens from the Pavilion End, with the wind, to Andrew Fletcher and Ali Raza. A slightly untidy first over includes a couple of wides, and straight-driven four from Raza, and a final delivery which strikes him a painful blow on the thighpad.. Daniel Mason from the Bosjes van Pex End.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  16:05
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
HCC : 12-0 (4 overs)
Staal and Wiffen meanwhile get the HCC chase underway, 158 the target to keep them in the hunt on the off chance Excelsior somehow contrive to blow it at Drieburg.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  15:45
Dosti : 61 all out (31.3 overs)
Excelsior 13-2 (6 overs)
Hint of nerves for Excelsior? They’ve lost 2 wickets already in what should be a doddle of a chase, Etman caught behind off Diwan and Inrgam bowled Hans. Parchment with Verhagen now. They need just 49 runs for the championship.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  15:55
ACC : 249-4 (44 overs)
ACC meanwhile finish on 249-4 from their 44, Sikander Zulfiqar finishing unbeaten on 80, Saqib having made 70.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  15:54
VRA : 218-7 (43 overs)
Borren puts Smit over the sight screen on the first ball of the 43rd, but can’t repeat the trick. Single on the third brings Long on to strike, drives out to long off to give Borren two more balls, but can’t find the rope. He finishes unbeaten on 87, 218 the total.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  15:45
Dosti : 61 all out (31.3 overs)
Excelsior 2-0 (2 overs)
Etman and Verhagen open for Excelsior, just 62 to get and a circumspect start so far

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  15:42
VRA : 200-7 (40.1 overs)
Three overs to come, and a mix up on the 1st ball of the 41st sees Lees run out after running the 200th. Tom Long joins Borren, who’s on 74*.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  15:29
VRA : 175-6 (37 overs)
Bold from Lake to pull out the reverse sweep to Smit, doesn’t work out well for him. Clean bowled, Lees at eight.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  15:28
Quick : 258 all out (48.4 overs)
Thijs van Schelven, having made a very valuable 28, drives Bukhari to Tim de Kok at extra cover, and he snaffles the catch. Two balls later Bukhari rearranges Daniel Mason’s stumps, and the innings closes on 258. Four for 47 for Bukhari to go with Snoep’s four for 21, but Quick will be reasonably happy with that total.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  15:20
ACC : 172-3 (~38 overs)
Saqib and Sikander Zulfiqar on 42* and 46* respectively now, building toward a big finish.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  15:11
Quick : 230-8 (44.2 overs)
Daan Vierling swings at Bukhari, gets under it, and the bowler runs to point to claim the catch when it finally comes down.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  15:16
VRA : 162-5 (34 overs)
Fifty for Borren, but he loses another partner as van den Burg walks down the track at Kingma, misses and is bowled. Matt “due a score” Lake in at seven.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  15:12
VOC : 157 all out (45.3 overs)
Street has Rutgers caught behind for 46 and VOC collapse in a heap. 157 all out.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  15:03
ACC : 141-3 (~30 overs)
Saqib and Sikander Zulfiqar still for ACC, looking set for a big total here.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  14:56
Dosti : 61 all out (31.3 overs)
Heggelman cleans up the tail, Excelsior will need 62 runs from 45 overs to reclaim the Topklasse title.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  14:55
VOC : 153-7 (42 overs)
Rutgers closing in on a half-centruy at de Diepput, currently on 46*, but he’s running low on partners. Said with him now.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  14:52
Quick : 218-7 (40.5 overs)
Pototsky goes for a big hit off Snoep, but Usman Saleem’s under it on the long off boundary. He departs for 11, and off the next ball, the batsmen having crossed, Brand edges to Buurman and goes for 52. Prathamesh Dake faces the hat-trick ball, survives it, and then edges the next to Buurman. Three wickets in four balls, and Quick suddenly in trouble.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  14:46
VRA : 127-4 (27 overs)
Fifty and out for Singh, looks to accelerate after chalking up the half-century, charges Boissevain, connects, but sends it straight down long on’s throat. Van den Burg in to join Borren, who’s on 30*.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  14:36
Dosti : 39-7 (26 overs)
Four wickets fell earlier with the score on 17, three have now fallen on 39. Ingram bowls Ghori for six, Hoseinbaks in

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  14:35
Quick : 206-4 (36 overs)
Pototsky it is, and after taking a couple of overs to settle he joins the party by smacking Sawan Sardha into the trees. Snoep has so far tried eight bowlers, but Quick have a platform for a big total here. Brand’s still there on 44. And on the second ground behind us, former international Tim Gruijters is batting for Quick Zomi against Excelsior, at the crease with his father Felix.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  14:35
ACC : 90-3 (23 overs)
Double strike for Ferdi Vink, bags the wicket of Barends who departs for 57. Saqib and Sikander Zulfiqar now for ACC.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  14:33
VOC : 141-5 (36 overs)
Another down at de Diepput, Klaus bowls Edwards for 18, Durrani joins Rutgers, who’s on 40*.<

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  14:31
Dosti : 39-6 (26 overs)
Make that four for van Troost, duck for Diwan. Masood at eight.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  14:21
Dosti : 39-5 (23 overs)
Three for van Troost, Zakhil caught for 14, the best score of the day so far for Dosti. Diwan in and Excelsior have one hand on the trophy.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  14:20
VRA : 77-3 (18 overs)
Mulder strikes again, straight through him and into the woodwork, Cooper cleaned up for 10. Borren at five.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  14:17
Quick : 193-4 (32.4 overs)
Stokkers goes, driving a little uppishly square at Joost Martijn Snoep and smartly caught by Fletcher at point. It may be Pototsky who joins Brand, who has moved on to 39.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  14:07
ACC : 75-1 (17 overs)
Word fro de Diepput is ACC are at 75-1 in 17ish overs, details hopefully to follow.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  14:05
VRA : 65-2 (15 overs)
VRA lose their second as Turmaine looks to flick Mulder to leg, misses and is pinned in front. Cooper at four..

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  13:56
Dosti : 27-4 (17 overs)
Dosti four down now, Tewarie caught behind off van Troost for a duck, but Ghori and Zakhil are putting up some token resistance for the fifth wicket.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  13:55
Quick : 166-3 (27 overs)
We must disappoint Alex Pototsky’s international fanbase: it is not he, but Lesley Stokkers, who has joined Jeroen Brand at the crease. He gets off the mark by sweeping Singh fine for three, while Brand takes up the aggressive role by planting the returning Usman Saleem into the trees beyond long on.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  13:53
VOC : 85-4 (26 overs)
HCC continue to find wickets, Seelaar caught off Klaus for 25. Rutgers joins Edwards, both yet to score.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  13:45
VRA : 24-1 (10 overs)
Singh and Turmaine still for VRA, and the first bowling change for the visitors as Mulder replaces Glover.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  13:41
Quick : 150-3 (23.4 overs)
Not very sub-Bista, that innings from Van Gigch, who brings up his fifty with a four off Hoornweg, taking just 39 deliveries and four fours and four sixes. But then, having smashed Singh over long on to go to 58 he tries to do it again and is bowled. Alex Pototsky succeeds him.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  13:40
VOC : 76-3 (22 overs)
Hay strikes again, van Lent LBW for 29. Edwards joins Seelaar.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  13:39
Dosti : 17-3 (13 overs)
Ahmed gone too now, caught van Wyk off Bhatti. Zakhil in and Excelsior can smell Silverware already.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  13:33
Dosti : 17-2 (12 overs)
Hans doesn’t last long. Run out without scoring. Now Singh for Dosti today so Vimal Tewarie at four. Excelsior well on top.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  13:31
Quick Haag : 128-2 (21 overs)
Van Gigch goes after Singh’s next over with a vengeance, smacking him straight for a four and two sixes, one just over the head of long off and the other into the sightscreen. Hoornweg, by contrast, produces a maiden over to Brand.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  13:25
Dosti : 17-1 (10 overs)
Van Troost brings Tewarie’s vigil to an end, bowled for 2 off 30 balls. Hans at three.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  13:22
VOC : 54-2 (18 overs)
VOC lose their second, van Baren caught Gorlee bowled Hay for 20. Seelaar at four.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  13:17
VRA : 21-1 (4 overs)
Szwarczynski looked to have been enjoying Kingma’s bowling, three fours off his first two overs, but Kingma has his revenge as he draws a loose drive and finds the edge through to Croes behind the stumps. Szwarczynski gone for 18, Turmaine at three.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  13:17
ACC : 15-0 (4 overs)
ACC off to a steady start meanwhile, 15 without loss after four.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  13:14
Quick : 105-2 (18 overs)
Bob van Gigch and Jeroen Brand are carrying on the good work, Van Gigch oroviding a somewhat lower-key of Bista’s aggression and lofting Hoornweg back over his head for six. Manminder Singh replaces Saleem and bowls a tidy over first up, after which they take a drink.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  13:06
VOC : 41-1 (14 overs)
Van Baren and van Lent have done a decent job rebuilding after the early loss of O’Dowd.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  13:05
VRA : 2-0 (1 over)
And we’re away! Singh and Szwarczynski open the batting for VRA, Glover bols the first over for VCC. Just a couple off it, Kingma from the other end.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  12:55
Dosti : 5-0 (2 overs)
Tewarie and Ahmed opening for Dosti, Heggelman and Parchment share the new ball. Quiet start so far.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  12:50
Quick : 77-2 (12.1 overs)
Usman Saleem has replaced Fletcher from the Bosjes van Pex End, bringing some sanity to the scoring. And then Max Hoornweg comes on for Bukhari, and with his first ball gets Bista, driving square and caught by Fletcher at point for 54. He’s given Quick a great start, but will it be enough?

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  12:49
Calculations at HBS-ACC have produced a slightly different outcome, they’ll be playing 44 overs each way. HBS fielding first, but not clear if that’s out of choce.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  12:41
Quick : 66-1 (10.2 overs)
Ekelemans goes for 11, edging Bukhari through to Atse Buurman behind the stumps. Bob van Gigch in at three. Bista, meanwhile, has brought up his half-century with another boundary; it comes off 30 deliveries, with five fours and four sixes. Exhilarating stuff.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  12:35
VCC win the toss here and will have a bowl. 43 overs apiece.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  12:32
VOC : 10-1 (4 overs)
Early wicket at de Diepput, and it’s a big one. O’Dowd run out for four, Adam Wiffen the fielder. Van Baren joins van Lent.

 HBS Crayenhout vs ACC  12:29
Same story at HCC’s second ground, they’re out for the toss now, 1pm start.

 VRA vs Voorburg CC  12:25
Toss in five minutes time here, should have a 1pm start.

Quick Haag vs Sparta 1888  12:23
Quick : 42-0 (6 overs)
And he top-slices Bukhari high over point for six, before hooking Fletcher for four and six off successive deliveries and another four which bounces just inside the fine leg boundary. Bista now has 39 from 21 deliveries.

 HCC vs VOC Rotterdam  12:20
VOC : 3-0 (1 over)
And they’re underway at de Diepput, O’Down and van Lent opening for VOC, Overdijk and Ahmed for HCC.

 Dosti vs Excelsior ‘20  12:19
Toss done at Drieburg, Dosti win and bat. Looking for a 12.45 start, 45 overs each way.

Good morning everyone and welcome back for this the 17th and penultimate round of the 2019 Topklasse. As fortune would have it the season is still indecided at both ends of the table, though Excelsior have a chance to clinch the title today with a win over Dosti, and indeed will be regain the championship regardless should HCC lose to VOC. At the other end of the table Quick need a win over Sparta to keep their hopes of survival alive another week, whilst elsewhere VRA, VCC, HBS and ACC are left to jostle for position in the mid-table. All this and more in the preview of course, and we should have some toss news for you in a little under an hour.
