Topklasse Live | Round 4 | As it Happened

 Bertus de Jong  19:00
That’s a wrap for us today, a comfortable win for HBS with their top order finally firing to put them solidly in the middle of the fluctuating table. Though with the confusion wrought by the KNCB-Punjab dispute the exact state of affairs is currently less than clear, what is certain is that Dosti and Excelsior are making the early running, Dosti stomping ACC today courtesy another Kohli century and Exclesior winning a low-scoring tussle against VOC, both thus preserving their unbeaten records. Sparta meanwhile are just two points behind them after a Bukhari-inspired win over the misfiring VRA, whilst HCC can thank Bryce Street and Tonny Staal for something more to celebrate tonight besides their Jubilee. Quick Haag join Punjab at the toe end of the table, though Jay Bista finding his feet in Dutch conditions may give them some cause for hope for what looks to be a dangerous season for the 2015 Champions. We’re back Monday for the second installment of this double-round. Do Join us again then.

The Topklasse table after round 4

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  18:56
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
Punjab 242 all out in 47.3 overs
And it’s all over, Berend Westdijk finishing things off, Tariq caught Morgan for a duck. Navjit Singh finishes with figures of 5-39 in 10, he and the top order delivering a convincing win for the hosts.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  18:42
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
 Punjab 236-9 in 45.1 overs
The inevitable death-or-glory collapse comes and it’s Navjit Singh who profits, three more wickets for him and just a matter of time now.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  18:25
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
 Punjab 218-6 in 43 overs
Punjab continue to make progress toward an honourable defeat.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  18:05
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
 Punjab 198-6 in 39 overs
So that leaves the game at Craeyenhout as the only going concern, and Punjab have almost narrowed the lead to double figures, but with just 4 wickets and 11 overs to go it will take some serious fireworks to get them back into the game from here.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  18:01
VRA : 148 all out in 43.3 overs
 Sparta : 151-7 in 46.1 overs
All over at Bermweg too we hear, Pollard’s 57 the backbone of the chase and Sparta making waves on their Topklasse return.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  17:50
 Dosti : 247-7 in 50 overs
ACC : 110 all out in 42.2 overs
It’s all over. Potdar, after looking a bit more positive than the rest of the younger brigade, is caught by Davids off Vinoo Tewarie for 9. Sikander reaches 47, looks for two to deep point, last man Wajdan Alim drops his bat, dallies picking it up, and is run out at the bowler’s end. A farcical end to a fairly dismal batting performance. Zulfiqar finishes on 48 not out.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  17:42
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
 Punjab 147-6 in 32 overs
Punjab still battling but they’re six down now, not yet half-way and falling behind the rate, need something special from the lower order if they’re going to pull this off.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  17:20
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 205-7 in 46 overs
Staal takes them home with a six, what an innings from him. Carries the bat for an unbeaten 98, fair to say he deserved a ton. Flurry of late wickets may have frayed some nerves at the end there but not Staal’s it seems.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  17:19
 Dosti : 247-7 in 50 overs
 ACC : 81-8 in 32 overs
Aryen Kumar holes out to Davids off Hans, and next ball Botha, well forward, is given LBW. Potdar survives the hat-trick ball, but Hans has 3-19 and despite Sikander Zulfiqar’s dogged resistance ACC are on the rack..

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  17:05
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
 Punjab 120-5 in 23 overs
And Myburgh gone for an uncharacteristically subdued 37, caught Morgan off Singh.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  17:03
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 173-7 in 42 overs
Quick coming back strong at de Diepput of a sudden, Mark Jonkman follows Ninan to the pavilion, trapped LBW. And van Kessel run out shortly after. Suddenly we have a match on our hands.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  17:00
 Dosti : 247-7 in 50 overs
 ACC : 68-5 in 27 overs
Raza hoicks Hans over cow for four, but then skies the next one and Hafeez is under it. Kumar joins Sikander, whose lone hand innings has advanced to 26. The match is, however, dying a lingering death.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  16:55
VRA : 148 all out in 43.3 overs
 Sparta : 106-4 in 30 overs
VRA have picked up a couple more wickets a Bermweg, but nowhere near as many as they need. That of Pollard in particular continues to elude them, he’s unbeaten of 56 and looks set to see them home.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  16:45
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
 Punjab 102-4 in 20 overs
HBS still finding wickets, Sigh and Khan doing for Khan and Masood respectively, but they haven’t found Myburgh’s yet.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  16:43
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 154-4 in 37 overs
Quick not rolling over as Davey nicks off Ninan to bring Jonkman to the middle, but HCC still well on top at de Diepput.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  16:37
 Dosti : 247-7 in 50 overs
ACC : 56-5 in 22.1 overs
Hans has succeeded Asief Hoseinbaks and Dosti continue to turn the screw, but it’s Hafeez, on at the River End, who has a very tentative Rasool edging to Vimal Tewarie at slip.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  16:37
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 102-6 in 30.4 overs
Gijs Kroesen drives van Baren through cover to the rope and that’s the game. David Woutersen the hero in a nervy chase, finishing unbeaten on a determined 17 from 64 balls, he and the Kroesens have gotten the defending champions two more points. It hasn’t been pretty watching today but Excelsior just keep finding ways to win. 20 extras from VOC didn’t hurt either.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  16:26
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 150-4 in 33 overs
Fifty for Staal in the meantime, but loses Overdijk, nicked off by Doc Mol.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  16:20
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 88-6 in 27 overs
Yet another no ball on the fifth ball of Klaassen’s last over, his sixth of the game. He finishes with 4-43 though so you can’t say he’s done too badly. Probably not quite enough though.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  16:17
 Dosti : 247-7 in 50 overs
ACC : 44-4 in 16 overs
Sikander Zulfiqar and Shirase Rasool engaged in a reconstruction programme at Het Loopveld, and eventually the former decides to go after Hoseinbaks, hitting him for successive fours. But Dosti are still firmly in charge.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  16:16
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 82-6 in 26 overs
Woutersen and Kroesen calming some nerves in the crowd here, Klaassen to bowl his last and one feels if he can’t find another wicket or two the chance may have gone for VOC…

 HCC vs Quick Haag  16:11
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 132-3 in 30 overs
HCC back in the groove as Staal hits out, six onto the tennis court and another over long off. HCC look to be walking it.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  16:08
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
Punjab 76-2 in 12 overs
Wickets at Craeyenhout as Westdijk has Raza caught behind and Coster bowls Bamunasinghe, but Punjab still up with the rate and the danger-man Myburgh still there.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  15:59
 Dosti : 247-7 in 50 overs
ACC : 28-4 in 11 overs
Another one goes, as Masood replaces Davids, and Frenz cuts hard to backward point, where Hans snaffles an excellent catch.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  15:58
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 74-6 in 22 overs
Fletcher finally gets his man and that’s quite a roar he’s got on him. Kroesen LBW for 28, replaced by his brother. Still unclear whether Verhagen will bat, reportedly injured his finger keeping. Might just be in for a thriller here.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  15:51
 Dosti : 247-7 in 50 overs
ACC : 25-3 in 10 overs
Asad’s vigil ends, as he runs down the pitch at Asief Hoseinbaks, misses, and is bowled. Enter Sikander, the Last of the Zulfiqars.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  15:50
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 102-3 in 26 overs
Progress has slowed rather at de Diepput but HCC still in a good position here as Overdijk and Staal continue to build. Half-way there and 24 overs to come.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  15:48
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
Punjab 45-0 in 5 overs
Quick start for Punjab, Myburgh driving the scoring. They’re on to 45 without loss after five. Raza in with him.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  15:42
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 66-5 in 18 overs
This partnership between Kroesen and Woutersen is threatening to snuff out the match, Fletcher back and a huge shout for LBW on Kroesen turned down, Ump thinks there was bat on it. Fletcher visibly unhappy and shies rather unnecessarily at the stumps next ball. Then beats the edge on the next, which is probably a better response.

Scoreboard trouble? Back to basics at de Diepput. photo Alex Pototsky

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  15:36
 Dosti: 247-7 in 50 overs
 ACC : 10-2 in 4 overs
ACC in early trouble, as Rehmat Zulfiqar cuts Asief Hoseinbaks’ first ball waist-high to Masood at point, and then Saqib is suckered into pulling Davids to Asief at deepish fine leg. Richardt Frenz joins Asad Zulfiqar at the crease.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  15:33
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 89-3 in 20 overs
HCC lose their third, Gorlee pushing forward and rapped on the pads, given. Overdijk in to join Staal.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  15:22
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 55-5 in 14 overs
Kroesen and Woutersen calm things down. This sixth wicket partnership worth 12 now, substantial in the context of the game, as Rutgers brings Baker on for Malik.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  15:20
VRA : 148 all out in 43.3 overs
 Sparta : 43-2 in 11 overs
Gunning finds the quick wickets VRA need, bagging a brace up front, but Pollard and de Kok holding firm for the third wicket so far.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  15:05
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 62-2 in 13 overs
Two down at de Diepput in the interim as Ali Ahmed is trapped LBW, Gorlee joins Staal.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  15:02
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 43-5 in 9 overs
That’s the one they wanted and Excelsior have just handed it to them! Hilditch won’t be happy, Kroesen in three or four minds about a chancy single, a bit of conviction and they’d likely have got home easily but it’s Hilditch that pays for Kroesen’s hesitance. Throw fired in to Klaassen who whips off the bails. VOC well in this now as Woutersen joins Kroesen.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  14:52
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 32-4 in 7 overs
Malik takes over from Fletcher, looks threatening, edges falling safe. Klaassen bags his fourth on the first ball of the next though, slower yorker into the base of Etman’s off stump. Joost Kroesen in at six, survives the next four balls and then takes advantage of another no ball from Klaassen, top-edging a pull over the slips for four.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  14:50
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 47-1 in 10 overs
Early loss of Street doesn’t seem to have disturbed HCC unduly. Ali and Staal have taken them to 47 after ten. Bista into the attack.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  14:41
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 24-3 in 5 overs
Three for Klaassen now, and it’s Ingram’s stumps he splays this time. Big wicket. Hilditch in and VOC maybe just starting to believe.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  14:33
Quick : 201 all out in 50 overs
 HCC : 27-1 in 6 overs
Street has less luck with bat than ball, edged into the pads and rolls onto the stumps, and Quick have their first wicket. Staal in.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  14:31
 Dosti: 247-7 in 50 overs
Hans and Hoseinbaks bat pretty effectively through the closing overs, until Hans is trapped in front by the final ball of the innings. But Dosti will be happy with this total, and ACC will have to bat very well up front.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  14:29
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior : 20-2 in 3 overs
Fletcher nearly has one in his first too, Etman smashes it over Rutgers at cover who does well to palm it up but can’t hold on at second attempt. Etman can’t ride his luck far though, Klaassen surgically removes his bails in the next over. Ingram in.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  14:20
 HBS 304-4 after 50 overs
Gomes goes for 72, Morgan finishes unbeaten on 69. 304 the final score and a big ask for Punjab.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  14:18
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
 Excelsior 12-1 in 1 over
We’re back in action here and an eventful first over from Klaassen. Two wides first up, then cleans up Shankar with the second, the next is a no ball and then he’s driven straight for four. Dot and then a inside edge evades the keeper and goes for four, single and then the last ball hits Heggleman on the elbow. Tim Etman’s with him, Fletcher from the other end.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  14:15
 HBS 255-2 after 45 overs
HBS looking to finish big, Morgan and Gomes both on 55* now going into the last five.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  14:15
 Dosti: 220-6 in 45 overs
Kohli goes, a fourth wicket for Saqib shortly after planting him into the shrubbery over square leg. His 111 came from 115 balls, and brought his aggregate for four innings to 353. Asief Hoseinbaks joins Hans.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  14:05
 Dosti: 210-5 in 44 overs
Anees Davids enters, lofts Saqib onto the pavilion roof, and next ball is quite brilliantly caught by Potdar at backward point. Mahesh Hans in next, with Dosti looking for the big finish.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  13:57
VRA : 148 all out in 43.3 overs
And VRA back in the box at Bermweg, Raja and Dunlop fall LBW in quick succession, and a 13 run last-wicket partnership bewteen Gunning and Mia can’t get them to 150, Mia caught at point and Gunning left unbeaten on 15. 149 will be the target after lunch.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  13:55
 Dosti: 198-4 in 42 overs
Vimal Tewarie doesn’t last long, hitting a low return catch to Saqib Zulfiqar. But Kohli is imperturbable and unstoppable, easing to his third century in four innings. It’s just wonderful to watch.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  13:50
 HBS 224-2 after 41 overs
Gomes and Morgan kicking on for HBS meanwhile, they’re on 49 and 29 respectively and the hosts look set for a serious score.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  13:37
 Quick : 201 all out 50 overs
Meanwhile at de Deipput the hosts have had the best of the death, Quick unable to build on the platform set by Bista. Bryce Street running through the tail to finish with 6-41.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  14:36
 Dosti: 170-3 in 37 overs
After drinks Botha returns to the attack, and it brings the breakthrough, Hafeez not quite getting on top of one and Rehmat Zulfiqar diving forward at shortish midwicket to take a very good catch. Vimal Tewarie joins Kohli, on 81.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  13:30
 VRA : 129-7 in 37 overs
Sparta meanwhile back on top at Bermweg after Borren and Turmaine’s fightback, Borren trapped LBW for 60 and Turmanine caught at point just after drinks. Gunning and Raja in.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  13:22
VOC : 100 all out in 32.5 overs
And that’s that, Hilditch takes the bail off off and middle and VOC are all out for exactly 100, Fletcher left stranded on 1*. A fine effort from the hosts and they’ll be happy at lunch, though on a pitch that’s been very difficult to score on, slow with a bounce that you wouldn’t buy a used car off, VOC will feel they’re not quite out of it yet.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  13:19
 VOC : 99-9 in 32 overs
From 88-8 to 99-9, Upadhayaya goes after Kroesen looking to go over long off but it doesn’t have the legs, skipper’s under it and comfortably taken on the slide. Fletcher last man and Hilditch returns for the 33rd.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  13:17
 Dosti: 164-2 in 35 overs
A definite change of gear by Dosti, with Hafeez now playing his shots and moving briskly on to 36. Kohli’s on 79, and the stand’s worth 86.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  13:10
 Quick : 182-7 in 45 overs
Another for Street as Quick struggle to accelerate at the death

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  13:08
 VOC : 83-8 in 29 overs
Baker doesn’t last though, pinned in front Ingram for a duck. Hanif in.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  13:06
 HBS 168-2 after 26 overs
Barresi falls with a landmark in sight too, caught for 45. Morgan to the middle.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  13:04
 VOC : 83-7 in 28.2 overs
Schoonheim gone too now, room to cut off Ingram but a bit of extra bounce brings a looping top edge well held by Woutersen diving across from backward point. Baker in.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  13:03
 VRA : 97-5 in 30 overs
Hard graft for Borren and Turmaine still, but they done half a rescue job for VRA and are pressing on. Borren brings up his half century pulling to the rope through midwicket, then survives next ball as a tough chance down leg is put down. He’s on 52, Turmaine still there too on 16. 63 the partnership.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  12:50
 Dosti: 109-2 in 28 overs
Kohli reaches another half-century, although Ahsan Raza makes him work hard for it, and it comes off a very sharp single which has Hafeez scampering. Saqib back from the Uilenstede End.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  12:48
 Quick : 168-6 in 40.1 overs
Street pegging Quick back here, has Mol caught for 10 and then Rooda bowled in short order. Ninan then strikes from the other end, and it’s the wicket they wanted, Bista goes ten short of a maiden Topklasse century, Skies the first ball of the 41st and caught Overdijk for 90.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  12:43
 VOC : 69-6 in 24 overs
Still Heggelman and Bhatti here, Schoonheim not batting like there’s five down already, happy to have a flash at anything, but it’s Rutgers that goes. Bhatti with a low full toss shaping in and Rutgers looks to flick it off the pads and is hit on the full in front of leg. The umpire doesn’t take much time to think about it and the finger’s up before the ball touches even bounces. Looked like a call that merited at least a little more consideration from here.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  12:38
 Dosti: 93-2 in 24 overs
Saqib wheeks himself off after that single breakthrough over, giving Sikander a couple more. Kohli continues imperiously, moving on to 44, watchful, but absolutely lethal for anything halfway loose.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  12:36
 HBS 131-1 after 19 overs
After labouring without reward for 19 overs Punjab have their first wicket, Visee caught for 89. Gomes in to join Barresi.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  12:35
 VRA : 65-5 in 22 overs
Borren and Turmaine digging in for VRA, Borren on 32 and Turmaine finds his first runs in a while with a flicked four off his pads.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  12:28
 VOC : 56-5 in 20 overs
Wickets keep coming here at Thurlede, Malik nicks Bhatti through to Verhagen and Schoonheim comes in to join Rutgers.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  12:24
 HBS 98-0 after 16 overs
Visee and Barresi closing in on a century opening stand meanwhile, Visee making the running on 65, Barresi on 30.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  12:18
 Quick : 138-3 in 34 overs
And Street finds the breakthrough at de Dipput, bowled for 24. Doc Mol in to join Bista who’s still there on 71*.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  12:16
 Dosti: 78-2 in 18.5 overs
Saqib takes over from brother Sikander at the Uilenstede End, and off his fifth ball Tewarie, who has been looking better and better, leans back to make room and is bowled for 32. Hafeez joins Kohli, who is on 33.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  12:15
 VRA : 48-5 in 19 overs
A recovery in relative terms for VRA, Borren and Turmaine make it to drinks and crucially the last of Bukhari’s ten overs, which have cost 23 runs and brought 5 wickets. Borren’s made it to 20*, Turmaine still there on 4.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  12:12
 VOC : 45-4 in 16.4 overs
VOC collapsing here, Klaasen pushing forward at Heggelman and a low edge barely carries to the cordon, but Ingram’s alert and holds it one-handed low to his left. Malik in and drinks.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  12:05
 VOC : 45-3 in 16 overs
What a catch! No runs in three overs and the pressure tells, Edwards pulling Bhatti loosely in front of midwciket and Etman leaps across to hold a screamer. Edwards gone for 9, stand-in skipper Rutgers in at five.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  12:04
 Quick : 108-2 in 29 overs
First chance in a while for HCC, Davey nicks Overdijk low past Lagas, but he can’t grab it.

 Rod Lyall  12:01
Meanwhile, at Het Loopveld, the teams have turned up for an Overgangsklasse match between ACC 2 and Olympia Gouda, only to find that the second ground is occupied for the entire day by youth football. A great of unhappiness, but naturally the national religion must take precedence.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  11:57
 VOC : 45-2 in 14.1 overs
Edwards and van Baren have settled somewhat here, couple of speculative LBW appeals the closest thing to a breakthrough. Hilditch and van Troost have been disciplined but Heggleman looks to change things up, Bhatti takes over from van Troost at the Pavilion end and the skipper himself relieves Hilditch. And with immediate result! Van Baren lefts him tamely toward mid on where Gijs Kroesen takes a good low catch. Klaassen up the order and to the middle.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  11:53
 Quick : 97-2 in 26 overs
Bista and Davey meanwhile putting Quick’s first solid partnership of the match, and arguably the season together. Bista’s 2 short of a half century and Davey’s with him on 11.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  11:51
 Dosti: 47-1 in 12 overs
The in-form Kohli begins where he left off last week, and moves briskly on to 22. Tewarie is also settling in, a flashing cut over gully giving him his first boundary. The result is a double bowling change, Raza and Sikander Zulfiqar coming into the attack.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  11:49
 VRA : 30-5 in 13 overs
And another for Bukhari! Ter Braak clean bowled and skipper van den Burg to the crease to join his predecessor. But not for long. Cleaned up first ball. Five for Bukhari and Leon Turmaine to face the hat trick ball. Well defended.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  11:43
 VRA : 25-3 in 10 overs
Three wickets for Bukhari in the meantime, Cooper chopping on and Szwarczynski edging behind just two balls later. VRA on the ropes at Bermweg. Borren and ter Braak in the middle now looking to steady the ship.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  11:42
 VOC : 24-1 in 10 overs
Van Baren riding his luck a little here, he’s been dropped twice now though both were sharp chances. Edwards still with him and van Troost and Hilditch still unchanged.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  11:37
 HBS 31-0 after 7 overs
Toby Visee meanwhile has got his side off to a brisk start at Craeyenhout, he’s on 25 already, opening with Wesley Barresi.

Sparta 1888 vs VRA Amsterdam  11:28
 VRA : 15-1 in 5 overs
Over at Bermweg Bukhari has the first breakthrough, Singh nicking to slip for 2. Ter Braak and Cooper in. And word is that sometime scorer and valued TKC informat Arjen Smelt is playing for Sparta today, so best of luck to him.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  11:27
 VOC : 8-1 in 6 overs
And we’ve had a toss at Thurlede too, VOC have it and they’ll bat first.  First wicket down here at Thurlede, Seb van Lent caught in the covers off Rens van Troost. And news that Max O’Dowd will be sitting this one out too, having injured his ankle in training. Edwards and van Baren in the middle for now, Hilditch and van Troost sharing the new ball.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  10:23
 Dosti: 15-1 in 5 overs
First blood to ACC, as Rahil Ahmed, after a bright start which includes two sweetly-hit boundaries, edges Dewald Botha to Shreyas Potdar in the gully. Taruwar Kohli joins Vinoo Tewarie.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  10:59
 Quick : 39-2 in 14 overs
Another down at de Diepput, Hidde Overdijk has Stokkers caught in the slips. Davey in.

HBS Craeyenhout vs Punjab Rotterdam  10:51
Punjab buck the trend at Craeyenhout, winning the toss and asking their hosts to bat first.

ACC Amsterdam vs Dosti United  10:47
And Vinoo Tewarie wins the toss for Dosti at het Loopveld, and in keeping with the fashion today elects to bat first.

Excelsior ‘20 vs VOC Rotterdam  10:45
And we’ve had a toss at Thurlede too, VOC have it and they’ll bat first.

 HCC vs Quick Haag  10:43
 Quick : 23-1 in 10.3 overs
