His 144 came from 127 balls and included 15 fours as well as those five sixes. Singh finishes with three for 16 from a very tidy spell indeed, and Dosti take the points. For the second match in a row, though, VRA make a decent fist of chasing a big total, and if they can find a way of putting sides under greater pressure early, they clearly have the batting to chase even decent scores.

Good morning/afternoon/evening once again, everyone. I’m at Sportpark Drieburg today, where the teams are just now removing the covers from the pitch. There’s been quite a lot of rain overnight, and although it’s not raining at the moment it’s pretty bleak. There’s a Scots word which describes conditions like this: ‘dreich’. It wraps dank, grey, wet, and largely windless in one miserable bundle. It’s a fair bet we’ll have a delayed start, but the weather is supposed to improve from here, so there’s a good chance we’ll get a game in. In the meantime, you may like to look at our previews for today and Saturday.
