There you have it, ladies and gents. HCC seal the deal with a round still to go, they’ll finish top of the Topklasse table for the first time since 2008, albeit without the title of Champions. They can still aim to finish the season undefeated however, which even in this abbreviated edition would be quite the achievement. They’ll be at VOC next week to try to claim that distinction, and of course there’s still bragging rights and fantasy points on the line in the final round, so do join us again then.

Understandable caution from this pair at the moment, but Malik isn’t going to miss out on a wide half-volley from van Troost, dispatched to the rope through cover. Another gimme from van Troost on the last ball of the 15th is flicked away behind square by Jain for four more.

And it pays off almost at once, Durrani going after Baker on the last ball fo the 12th but succeeds only in chipping the ball up to mid off. Ahsan Malik in at five. A massive blow for VRA as Quirijn Gunning traps Lenert van Wijk in front with the third ball of the match, and the first he faced. But Ali Raza joins Ambrose in the middle and immediately goes after the bowling, racing to 23 off 15 deliveries.
