That was, by any standards, an extraordinary day: six centuries, a side chasing down a 300+ target, and almost 2800 runs across the six games. Four wins ahead of their nearest rivals, Voorburg have guaranteed themselves the top spot going into the finals, having beaten one of their closest rivals and seen the other lose to HCC. VRA’s epic chase gives them the faintest chance of making the semi-finals, while HCC have a much larger opening after beating Excelsior. ACC’s defeat of Salland keeps them clear of the relegation zone, although with three matches to go there could still be plenty of twists and turns.
