 Rod Lyall  18:34
So HBS retain their unbeaten record, after a battle which certainly didn’t disappoint. The Crows kept their nerve, and despite Worden’s dogged 66 and Pringle’s enterprising 40*, their 224 proved to be enough. We hope you’ve enjoyed our coverage, and that you’ll be back with us next week as we reach the halfway point in this initial phase of the competition. And in the meantime, there’ll be tables and scorecards to catch up with, Sander’s photos to enjoy, a review to read, and of course, our preview of next weekend’s games. For now, though, it’s goodbye from me.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  18:29
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 207-9 (50 overs)
A scoop behind square brings a couple. Pringle refuses a single to long on. Wide. Beaten by the next. 19 off three, not on. The next squirts away, and it’s pretty much done. A single to the square leg boundary. A swing and a miss by Bijloos, and HBS win by 17 runs, Pringle remaining on 40*.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  18:25
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 203-9 (49 overs)
Pringle knows he’s got to do it all himself, but he’s confined to a single by Klein. Bijloos takes one as well, and then Pringle hoicks him to midwicket for a couple. A single to fine leg gets him to the other end, but 22 are needed off Ferdi Vink’s last.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  18:18
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 198-9 (48 overs)
Klaus steps away cutting, opening up his stumps, of which Klein duly makes a terrible mess. But a couple of sixes from Pringle mean it’s not quite all over yet.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  18:08
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 181-8 (46 overs)
Charumbira joins Pringle: HCC need boundaries, but the bowling isn’t offering them and when Charumbira goes after Ferdi Vink he can only find long on. 44 needed off four, and only two wickets in hand.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  18:03
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 172-7 (44.4 overs)
Barresi back too, and after three more singles Worden finally goes big, succeeding only in holing out at long on. He made 66, but his dismissal probably settles the outcome.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  18:00
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 169-6 (44 overs)
56 off six, as Ferdi Vink comes back from the Sportlaan End and gives away just three singles.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  17:55
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 166-6 (43 overs)
De Mey finishes with three for 48 from his ten, just four singles off his last as the ask gets progressively bigger. Can Worden go through the gears? He’s going to need to, because HCC now need 59 off seven.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  17:49
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 157-6 (41 overs)
Pringle in to join Worden, with 72 required off ten. Klein switches to the Scoreboard End, just four off his over. Worden 60*, 68 off nine.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  17:39
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 149-6 (39.1 overs)
Patel smacks Stephan Vink over long on for six, initiating another foray into the undergrowth, keeping HCC’s hopes alive. 76 needed from 11 overs. De May back, and Patel, sweeping, is bowled by a full delivery.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  17:14
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 130-5 (34.5 overs)
Klein returns to staunch the flow, but a four and a single bring Worden to 49*, and a single off Stephan Vink takes him to his fourth consecutive half-century, this one made from exactly 100 balls. Just as HCC seem to be getting on top, however, Vink gets Overdijk, caught by De Mey for 41. Yash Patel joins Worden, with 95 still needed.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  17:06
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 122-4 (33 overs)
Given that asking rate, it’s important that 12 come off Barresi’s next, six of them from an Overdijk slog-sweep in front of square leg.Stephan Vink returns from the Scoreboard End as HBS push to maintain the strangle, but Overdijk smacks him back straight and into the trees beyond long on. A search party sets out. The over ends with a four from Overdijk as well, so 13 off that in all. Worden 44*, Overdijk 40*.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  16:46
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 94-4 (30 overs)
Barresi into the attack from the Sportlaan End, right on the spot to Worden, who dabs his final delivery down through the gully for a couple. It was a stand between Worden and Overdijk which won last Sunday’s game against Kampong for HCC, and it looks as if they’re keen to do it again here. Worden’s now on 39*, Overdijk on 20*, and they need 131 off the last 20.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  16:46
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 81-4 (27 overs)
In De Mey’s next Overdijk hammers him over long on for another six. There’s a longish pause as Kaplan has a problem mid-over, and a conference among the senior HBS players about what happens next. Navjit Singh completes the over, tidily enough.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  16:33
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 73-4 (25 overs)
Worden and Overdijk have been dealing mostly in singles, but then Overdijk plants him firmly over the long off fence. HCC needed that! Kaplan replaces Stephan Vink, who’s bowled a tidy spell from the Scoreboard End; just a single off his first.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  16:23
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 60-4 (21.3 overs)
Another for De Mey: after Visée has an appeal for caught behind turned down, the next delivery takes Crowley on the pad and the LBW is given. Overdijk in at six, with HBS now definitely on top. Worden’s still there on 25*.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  16:16
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 58-3 (20 overs)
They’ve had a drink at Craeyenhout, and Worden, who is very strong square of the wicket, takes another four through point when De Mey resumes. He’s moved to 24*, with Crowley on 2*.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  15:56
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 45-3 (15.3 overs)
Breakthrough for De Mey as Gorlee, on 19, clips him over midwicket and is caught on the boundary by Walbrugh. He seems reluctant to go, as if he’s not sure whether the catch was properly taken, but in the end he trudges off. Damien Crowley in for the first time this season.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  15:49
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 40-2 (12 overs)
Julian de Mey replaces Klein, and after a single apiece for Gorlee and Worden Gorlee pulls him hard to the midwicket boundary before lofting him back over mid-off for another four. These two settling to their task now.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  15:29
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 23-2 (8 overs)
Quality pace bowling from Vink and Klein on a pitch which gives them every encouragement, though when Vink gives Worden too much room outside off he’s clipped firmly to the cover point boundary. Worden and Gorlee forced to work really hard here, helped by a high Klein bouncer which eludes Visée and goes for five wides.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  15:13
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 3-2 (4.1 overs)
Vink makes it two, as Floyd edges him to Walbrugh at first slip. Good catch, low and slightly to his left. Gorlee in at four, with HCC reeling.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  15:11
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 2-1 (4 overs)
A wicket maiden from Klein, followed by a maiden from Vink and another, very hostile one, from Klein. Worden playing and missing, HBS calling the shots at the moment.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  15:02
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 2-1 (1.1 overs)
And Klein strikes! Staal prods at his first delivery, gets an edge, and Visée does the rest. Staal’s on his way without looking at the umpire, almost before the ball reaches the keeper. Worden to the crease.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  15:00
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC : 2-0 (1 over)
They’re back at Craeyenhout, with Ferdi Vink starting from the Scoreboard End to Floyd, with Tonny Staal the non-striker. Floyd away immediately, stroking a full delivery through point for a couple. The rest of the over’s pretty much on the spot. Klein from the Sportlaan End.

 Rod Lyall  14:19
Will that be enough? Craeyenhout tends to be a high-scoring ground, and HBS would probably have liked another twenty or thirty runs. But still, their bowlers have something to defend, and Worden and co. will need to bat well. We’ll be back in 25 minutes or so for the denouement.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  14:16
HBS : 224-8 (50 overs)
HCC have done well in cutting out the boundaries in these final overs, but Floyd can’t prevent Klein from smacking him for six over midwicket. Nor can Overdijk as Klein smashes him over square leg for another. Twice, taking him to a 46-ball fifty. And thrice, this time effortlessly over cow. Who’d be a death bowler in these hard times? 23 off that final over, Overdijk finishing with five for 50, which doesn’t detract from an outstanding effort. Klein 58* from 48 deliveries.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  14:06
HBS : 191-8 (47.3 overs)
Overdijk produces the old one-two: a bouncer to Vink’s called wide, but the next is a perfectly-pitched yorker, which strikes the pads and draws the LBW decision. Benno Boddendijk the new man. Five for 27 for Overdijk.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  13:58
HBS : 179-6 (45.3 overs)
Sho’ ‘nuff, Overdijk back to bowl out from the Scoreboard End. And sho’ ‘nuff, De Mey swings wildly at his third delivery and skies it to the keeper. Goes for 16. Four for 20 for Overdijk, as Ferdi Vink comes to the crease.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  13:54
HBS : 178-6 (45 overs)
A bit of momentum coming now, with both Klein and De Mey playing with a greater degree of freedom against the spinners. Klein on to 21*, De Mey 16*.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  13:43
HBS : 156-6 (42 overs)
HBS are finding it tough to create any momentum here against Worden and Pringle; 200 looks a long way off, and you’d think that’s the minimum they need. Floyd back to maintain the pressure.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  13:35
HBS : 147-6 (39.3 overs)
All happening in Pringle’s next over: an unsuccessful LBW appeal, a lovely drive through mid-off from Barresi, but then when he attempts to put the next over the long off fence he holes out to Staal on the rope and departs for 30. Julian de Mey in, with the advantage now definitely with HCC.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  13:29
HBS : 140-5 (38 overs)
Pringle back as Gorlee continues to rotate his spinners, and this is a much better over: good variation, plenty of bounce. After a break for another drink, Zac Worden comes on at the Sportlaan End, his loosener pulled away hard by Klein. Tidy after that. Just one off Pringle’s next.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  13:17
HBS : 134-5 (35 overs)
Klaus switches to the Sportlaan End, with HCC looking to press home their advantage following the wicket of Navjit. A lot depends on this partnership from an HBS point of view. Barresi carves Floyd through point for four, then dismisses a Klaus full toss wide of mid-on for another.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  13:04
HBS : 117-5 (31.3 overs)
Charumbira replaces Overdijk, and I’m with the commentators that it might have been worth giving him another over. Barresi reinforces the point with a short-arm pull to the square leg boundary. But the bowler can hardly be blamed for the inside edge to the fine leg rope which means that there are again 12 runs off the over. Floyd, down on one knee, pleads with Bathi for a leg-before against a sweeping Navjit, but two balls later he gets his man, sneaking on through and Navjit goes for 23. Enter Ryan Klein.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  12:56
HBS : 103-4 (30 overs)
Navjit brings up the hundred, lofting Floyd sweetly over backward square for four. But thereafter Overdijk and Floyd aren’t giving much away. Level pegging at this point.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  12:45
HBS : 95-4 (26.3 overs)
Overdijk back, from the Sportlaan End now, and with his third delivery he gets the breakthrough, pushing Kaplan onto the back foot and getting the ball through and into the off stump. Kaplan departs for 53, and is succeeded by Wesley Barresi.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  12:41
HBS : 91-3 (25 overs)
Pringle not as accurate today as he was against Kampong last Sunday, and he’s quickly replaced by Floyd, who responds with a maiden. Bijloos finishes his ten-over spell with figures of one for 33, Kaplan driving his final delivery through extra cover to go to 51*, his first Topklasse half-century.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  12:24
HBS : 73-3 (20 overs)
Bijloos continues from the Sportlaan End, two singles and then a beautifully-cut boundary for Kaplan off his seventh over. Pringle back from the other, opening with a legside wide. Kaplan now on to 41*, Navjit on 6*

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  12:12
HBS : 63-3 (18 overs)
Bijloos and Klaus keeping it tight as HBS seek to recover from the loss of Walbrugh. Just singles at the moment to keep the scoreboard moving. Navjit survives a loud appeal for caught behind off Klaus, umpire Bathi not buying it. And they take a drink.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:58
HBS : 53-3 (14.1 overs)
Walbrugh seems content to push the ball about, with Kaplan adopting a more aggressive posture. Charumbira gets just the one over, replaced by Ollie Klaus, who concedes a brace of twos including a rebound overthrow off the stumps. The final ball yields a chance of a return catch, but Klaus can’t hang on to it. But it’s not costly, as from the first delivery of Bijloos’s next Walbrugh chases a ball down the leg side and gets an edge to Patel. He goes for 19, and Navjit Singh joins Kaplan on 29*.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:48
HBS : 47-2 (12 overs)
Patient Charumbira replaces Overdijk at the Scoreboard End. When he drops a little short Kaplan lofts him over mid-on for four, then clips a fuller delivery off his toes and through midwicket for another. The final ball is driven back straight, beating the bowler; Kaplan moves to 29*, with Walbrugh on 13*.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:39
HBS : 32-2 (10 overs)
Bijloos gets too straight to Kaplan, who cracks him away through straightish midwicket for four. Classy shot! But Overdijk continues to nag away outside off, Walbrugh almost getting an edge to one that leaves him sharply. Maiden from him.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:31
HBS : 27-2 (8 overs)
Just one over from Floyd, and Gorlee abandons his spin strategy; left-armer Reinier Bijloos takes over at the Sportlaan End. A couple of singles from his first. Kaplan, who drove Overdijk through point in his previous over, hits another on the up, through cover this time.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:20
HBS : 14-2 (5.2 overs)
Clayton Floyd quickly replaces Pringle in the attack, just a couple of singles from his first. Overdijk is finding good carry from the Scoreboard End, and Mason after ducking under a bouncer, fends the next to Gorlee at second slip. You can see why he felt he had to play that. Gavin Kaplan in at four.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:16
HBS : 12-1 (4 overs)
Walbrugh takes Pringle on, driving him through the covers for four and following it up with a neat glance to deep fine leg. Overdijk pursues a fourth- or fifth-stump line, inducing a couple of rather wild flashes from Mason. A seventh-stump-line wide the only product of the over.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:07
HBS : 2-1 (1.4 overs)
And Visée goes! A single apiece, and then Visée flashes characteristically ar a lifting ball outside off and gets an edge to Yash Patel behind the stumps. Tayo Walbrugh in very early.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:05
Ferdi Vink returns for HBS, but Kyle Klein is reportedly unwell and is replaced by Benno Boddendijk. Damian Crowley plays for HCC for the first time this season.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  11:03
We’re under way, with Tim Pringle opening from the Sportlaan to Reece Mason, partnered by Tobias Visée. Right on the spot, rewarded with a maiden. Hidde Overdijk from the Scoreboard End.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  10:43
And bingo! Boris Gorlee has called correctly, and has invited HBS to have a bat.

 HBS Craeyenhout vs HCC  10:41
No news of the toss yet, but we live in hope . . .

 Rod Lyall  10:15
And here we are, as promised, all set to bring you all the action from what may well prove to be the most significant match of the round, with HBS and HCC vying for points which the winners will almost certainly carry with them all the way through the tussle for a place in the finals. Bertus de Jong and I agree about one thing, namely that this is a very tough result to pick. The toss will take place in about 15 minutes, so make yourself a cup of your preferred beverage and buckle up for the ride!

 Rod Lyall  18:04
So, in very different ways, Voorburg and Punjab retain their unbeaten records, while VRA consolidate their position in the top half of Group B by beating VOC and ACC gain two very valuable points at the expense of Kampong. We’ll be back tomorrow for the vital clash between HBS and HCC at Craeyenhout, but for now this is Rod Lyall saying goodbye from TKcricket. We hope you’ve enjoyed today’s coverage, and that we’ll see you again tomorrow.

 ACC vs Kampong  17:55
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 166 all out (38.4 overs)
And right on cue Van Vliet finishes it off at ‘t Loopveld, surgically removing Van der Harten’s leg stump and then getting Nana caught behind by Smith next ball. He finishes with five for 36, and ACC get their first win by 59 runs. Roy left not out on 15*.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:55
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 202-9 (50 overs)
Nashier back and just the one off him, Borren looking for a well-earned five-fer from his last over, but Harhangi doggedly denies him by blocking out a maiden. Hoornweg shows a little more adventure in the last, chipping Nashier over mid on for a single, but that’s as many as they’ll get. 60 runs the margin in the end, with VRA more or less in control throughout.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:47
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 200-9 (47 overs)
Borren’s self-belief pays off, Edwards’ doesn’t. Steps into it a lofted toward long on, not far enough, Singh’s under it and Edwards is already walking. He goes for 120 off 129, and that’s the game you’d think. Van Wingerden in and yeah, sure looks like it. Shanked to mid on for another Borren-Singh combo. Hoornweg last man.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  17:46
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 109 all out (38.5 overs)
And it is all over at the Bermweg, where last man Snoep is bowled by Sikander Zulfiqar, who finishes with three for 8. Four for 28 for Saqib of that ilk. Comfortable for Punjab in the end.

 ACC vs Kampong  17:43
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 160-8 (36.1 overs)
Roy chops Ackermann for four to third man, then Briggs swings him high and handsome over midwicket for the first six of the match. But then Van Vliet pretty much settles it as the Aucklander holes out to Hobson and mid-on and departs for 63. Van der Harten to join Roy.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:42
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 197-7 (46 overs)
Edwards chancing his arm against Borren now, heaved away over midwicket without the safety of a free hit this time. He’s getting little help from the other end however, Harhangi on two off 20 now and struggling to balance the responsibilities of getting Edwards on strike and not getting out himself. 65 needed off the last four overs. Borren to continue.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  17:36
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 109-9 (38.3 overs)
Sikander Zulfiqar strikes again: Ahsan Malik caught by Suleiman Tariq for 11. Snoep and Balwantsingh the final pair for Sparta.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:35
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 179-7 (44 overs)
It’s been a more than useful spell from Borren, but no ball is called on the last ball of the 43rd, for too many men out I think. Hard to see what else it could be. Edwards needs no second invitation and sends the free hit out of the park over midwicket to bring up his century. Any encouragement for the hosts is slowly snuffed out as Harhangi blocks out a maiden to Dutt in the next however.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  17:26
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 104-8 (37 overs)
66 needed from 13 overs, but it’s a big ask with only two wickets in hand.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:23
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 160-7 (40 overs)
Schoonheim rocks back to cut Dutt through point for four, but goes next ball trying to muscle him through the leg side but only finding Borren at short midwicket, who takes his third catch of the game to draw level with Malan in the outfield catch count for the season. Harhangi in to join Edwards, who’s on 88*.

 ACC vs Kampong  17:21
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 137-7 (32.5 overs)
Fifty for Briggs, top-slicing an Ackermann bouncer over gully for a couple. And Butt shows his intent, thumping Van Vliet over mid-off for four, but then later in the over he tries to cut and is caught by Smith, standing up. Alex Roy in at nine.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:16
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 153-6 (39 overs)
Back after drinks and Borren strikes, another slow looper and Fourie lofts it back over Borren but he’s not got near enough of it, Smal round from mid off, and leaps to take the catch. Edwards still there on 85 though. He’s joined by Niaz for all of two deliveries before the latter is trapped in front. Schoonheim in and this pair need to change the game.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  17:11
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 91-8 (33 overs)
Sikander Zulfiqar gets into the act, bowling Manminder Singh for 18. Just a matter of time now, you’d think.

 ACC vs Kampong  17:11
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 126-6 (30.2 overs)
Singh Jhala goes, caught behind by Smith off Van Vliet for 14. The other possibility, of course, is that Briggs runs out of partners. Shahreyar Butt the new man.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:08
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 151-4 (38 overs)
Edwards sweeping just about everything now, brings up the 150 with a series of twos but VOC need to find the rope. Drinks again, 12 overs to go, VOC still trail by Nelson.

 ACC vs Kampong  17:06
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 126-5 (30 overs)
Briggs on to 48*, and he’s clearly key to any hopes Kampong may have. 100 needed from 20, still five an over.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  17:03
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 142-4 (37 overs)
Can you still call that a cutter? Looks like there’s some genuine legbreaks mixed in there from Borren. Whatever he’s bowling it’s working, he’s not given up a boundary yet and neither has Turmaine for a while. VOC need 121 from 13 now. Edwards on 77 off 100 balls.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  17:03
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 88-7 (31.2 overs)
A fourth wicket for Saqib Zulfiqar, as Ahmadi is caught by Salarazai for 10. Sparta are past the halfway mark, but they’re running out of both wickets and overs.

 Salland vs Voorburg  16:59
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Salland : 73 all out (28 overs)
All over at het Schootsveld, Boissevain has Jarriullah caught and bowled, last man Sherzad hits a defiant six to spare the hosts the emmbarrassment of a 200-run defeat before another run out wraps things up. That was not close.

 ACC vs Kampong  16:55
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 104-5 (26 overs)
Reddy gets Chaturvedi, very well caught by Ackermann dropping back at deep mid-on. Singh Jhala joins Briggs now, as Kampong’s reply comes off the rails rather.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  16:53
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 126-4 (34 overs)
Good from Borren, bowling cutters with the keeper up and gives away just three, and Turmaine profits from the pressure at the other end. Seelaar steps out again, hint of turn and it’s miscued to Borren himself at short midwicket who takes the catch and breaks into a van der Merwe-esque double fist-pump celebration. He clearly thinks that’s a big wicket, and who are we to disagree? Fourie in and Turmaine completes a wicket maiden.

 ACC vs Kampong  16:49
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 103-4 (24.2 overs)
But then a terrible mix-up off Arya’s bowling sees Jacod stranded mid-pitch, and he has to depart for 31. Vikram Chaturvedi in to join Briggs, who’s on 42*.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  16:45
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 123-3 (32 overs)
Just three singles off Turmaine’s next, but Edwards finds the rope in the 31st, coming down the track to Nashier and lifting him over long on for four. VOC really need a boundary every over here now though with the require rate up around eights. That’s exactly what they get in the next over as Edwards again comes down the wicket to put Turmaine over mid on for four. These are not risk-free runs, but if the hosts can keep this up theywill be right back in the game soon enough. Borren takes the ball.

 ACC vs Kampong  16:45
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 99-3 (24 overs)
A boundary an over is pretty much what Kampong need, but when Joseph Reddy comes into the attack Briggs does better than that, chopping him to the cover point rope before swinging him away behind square, finishing the over off with a brace through square leg.

 Salland vs Voorburg  16:40
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Salland : 53-8 (23 overs)
And another run out at het Schootsveld, Salland are nothing if not traditionalists it seems. Hemapriya goes without scoring, Hashim Khan in to join Lubbers, whose 71-ball vigil is brought to an end in the next over, caught behind off Shariz Ahmad for 28. Jariiullah penultimate man.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  16:39
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 67-6 (24 overs)
Nasratullah Ibrahimkhil follows off the last ball of the same Saqib over, another catch for Rehmat, and now it’s looking pretty rosy for the defending champions.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  16:37
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 67-5 (23.1 overs)
And Saqib Zulfiqar does the necessary, taking a return catch to remove Bukhari for 28. It’s far from over, but that’s a massive blow to Sparta’s hopes of pulling off a major upset.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  16:35
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 105-3 (28.4 overs)
Leon Turmaine into the attack as VRA continue to apply the slow-bowling squeeze. Seelaar breaks the shackles in Nashier’s next however, skipping down the track to launch him over long on for six. That takes VOC past the hundred mark, and a ball-hunt ensues.

 Salland vs Voorburg  16:30
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Salland : 51-6 (21 overs)
Fifty up for Salland, but at the cost of the sixth wicket, Paulbritto caught by Malan off Ali Ahmad. I make that Malan’s sixth outfield catch in three games. Hemapriya joins Lubbers, who is now on 25*.

 ACC vs Kampong  16:28
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 76-3 (20 overs)
They take a drink at ‘t Loopveld with Kampong needing 150 from 30 overs, exactly five an over. The game’s nicely in the balance.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  16:25
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 87-3 (26 overs)
Fifty for Edwards lashing a wide delivery from Dutt in front of point for two. Asking rate up over sevens now though. Nashier to continue.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  16:25
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 56-4 (19.4 overs)
Saqib Zulfiqar gets Mamoon Latif, caught by brother Rehmat for 8. Punjab need to keep taking wickets, but Bukhari’s the one they really need.

 ACC vs Kampong  16:21
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 69-3 (18 overs)
Briggs and Jacod are working hard to build a recovery against the steady Hobson and the lively Ackermann. When Ackermann bowls another bouncer, Briggs lashes him over the keeper for four to go to 25*, while Jacod is on 13*.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  16:17
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 71-3 (23 overs)
Arnav Jain in to join Edwards but he doesn’t last long. Huge swipe across the line at Nashier and a leading edge comes down for Singh at mid on. Captain to the crease, Seelaar in to join Edwards, who is on 42 off 65.

 Salland vs Voorburg  16:14
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Salland : 36-5 (16 overs)
Meanwhile Victor Lubbers has lost another partner, Gopinath bowled by Stef Mulder for 1. Paulbritto in, Lubbers on 18*.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  16:10
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 69-2 (21 overs)
Nashier still and Edwards looks for the reverse sweep, Borren at first slip sees the shot coming and shuffles wider, takes it low at his ankles off the face and celebrations ensue, followed by remonstrations as it’s clear the umpire’s not giving it. Did he grass it? Bump ball? Entirely impossible to tell from here but VRA are putting on their best “baffled indignation” act. Giving up on the umpire they appeal to Edwards’ better nature. Edwards’ better nature is having none of it. They will have to settle for the wicket of Tim de Kok, who is given LBW two balls later.

 ACC vs Kampong  16:08
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 54-3 (14 overs)
Drama at ‘t Loopveld as a Hobson delivery takes off from a full length and flies over Smith’s head for four byes, and from the next delivery umpire Van Giezen, getting into position for a run-out, is struck on the knee by the return and goes down. He’s soon back on his feet, but that obviously hurt!

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  16:02
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 44-3 (15 overs)
Mudassar Bukhari is Sparta’s main hope now, and he’s reached 20* as they chase Punjab’s far from imposing total.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  15:57
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 66-1 (18.4 overs)
The introduction of left arm spin does the trick for VRA, O’Dowd caught behind off Nashier for 23. Tim de Kok comes in to join Edwards, who will resume on 39* after drinks. Hard to say who’s ahead at this stage, the hosts have wickets in hand something to build on but the asking rate is up over a run a ball and the length of the VOC tail means they can’t afford to be adventurous this early.

 ACC vs Kampong  15:57
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 38-3 (11.2 overs)
Hobson into the attack from the Uilenstede End, and now Ackermann from the other. After a wide bouncer and a dot he has Malik LBW: the Kampong captain is demonstrably aggrieved, but eventually he has to go, to be succeeded by Jacod.

 Salland vs Voorburg  15:48
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Salland : 26-4 (11 overs)
And it sure seems a fine day to be Delano Potgieter. He bags a wicket with the first ball of his third over, van Molen caught behind for 2. Ginsburgh in, and Ginsburgh out, the traditional run-out to punctuate a collapse. Gopinath joins Lubbers, who has made it to double figures. He’ll likely need to make triple and then some to save his team from here.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  15:46
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 22-3 (10.2 overs)
Meanwhile at the Bermweg, Salarazai has trapped Allen in front for 13, and now Tariq claims the precious wicket of Samit Gohil, also caught leg-before for 6 on his Topklasse debut.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  15:42
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 51-0 (15 overs)
Too straight from Abid and Edwards glances fine for a single to bring up the fifty partnership. It’s looked pretty solid from this pair so far but from what we’ve seen this season the going only gets tougher from here. 212 to get from 35 overs.

 ACC vs Kampong  15:41
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 27-2(7.3 overs)
Alphonse goes first ball, playing forward rather tentatively to Arya. Usman Malik in to try to stop the rot.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  15:40
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 106-2 (17.3 overs)
And it’s all over, three singles off three balls, the last a cheeky bunt toward mid off from Etman for a rather anticlimactic end to a cracking innings, he finishes unbeaten on 79 off 65, and has certainly earned his free afternoon. Another heavy defeat for Dosti, another emphatic win for Excelsior.

 ACC vs Kampong  15:39
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 27-1(7.2 overs)
Devanshu Arya on at the River End, and Abyhankar greets him by thumping him over midwicket for four. But then ACC get the breakthrough, as they look for a quick single, the ball’s gathered at square leg and thrown to Smith, and Abhyankar fails to make his ground. He goes for 21, and is succeeded by Ratha Alphonse.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  15:35
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 103-2 (17 overs)
Etman wants this done. Takes Hoseinbaks for 17 in the 16th including a huge slog-swept six over midwicket, First ball of the next puts Raja through point for four, then over extra cover for six three balls later. Three left to get.

 Salland vs Voorburg  15:30
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Salland : 20-2 (7 overs)
Another down at Deventer, Piyaranga caught Malan off Kingma for 8. van Molen joins Lubbers.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  15:30
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 39-0 (12 overs)
Singh replaces Visser at the pavilion end, starts with four dots before going short and O’Dowd collects his first boundary pulling in front of square. He’s on to 14 off 39, Edwards 21 off 33.

 ACC vs Kampong  15:25
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 17-0 (4 overs)
Raza opens with a maiden, but thereafter the runs start to flow, and Abhyankar and Briggs haven’t been in any trouble so far.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  15:25
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 75-2 (14 overs)
Hoseinbaks into the attack and Etman meets him with a cross-batted slog for a straight six. Two balls later runs it down to third for one to bring up his fifty off 48 balls.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  15:23
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 67-2 (13 overs)
Etman drives square for four more to take the hosts past the half-way point, then repeats the stroke on the last ball, it’s chsed down this time but the throw’s to the wrong end to prevent the third, an attempted run out then results in a direct hit, with the ricochet allowing an all-run four. Bit of a rarity at Thurlede, those. Etman into the forties.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  15:14
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 26-0 (8 overs)
First boundary of the innings as Visser misses his length and is pulled away for four over the on side by Edwards. Two balls later gives too much width and is carved behind point for four more, another dot and and then a lovely checked drive beats long off to the rope.

 ACC vs Kampong  15:17
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Kampong : 6-0 (1 over)
Van Vliet opens from the Uilenstede End to Abhyankar, who’s partnered by Briggs. Steady start from him, though he can’t prevent Abhyankar from lofting him to the midwicket boundary and then cutting him in front of point for a couple. Anis Raza will bowl spin from the other end.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  15:07
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 47-2 (9 overs)
Heggelman flicks Masood up over square for four second ball of the ninth, but is caught in the gully off the next delivery. Ingram in to join Etman, who’s on 27*.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  15:06
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Sparta : 2-1 (2.3 overs)
An immediate strike-back by Suleiman Tariq, who bowls Ali Raza before he has scored.

 Salland vs Voorburg  15:06
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Salland : 1-1 (1 over)
Play has resumed at het Schootsveld too, but things are going no better fpor the hosts. Kingma cleans up Webber with his third delivery. One for one after one. Boissevain from the other end, Piyaranga is joined by Lubbers.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  15:04
VRA : 262-9 (50 overs)
VOC : 9-0 (4 overs)
They’re back on at Hazelaarweg too, and VRA have acquired a couple of runs over lunch, one of those was that no ball in the 6th over, not sure where the other’s come from. O;Dowd and Edwards for the hosts, looks like Abid sharing the new ball with Visser.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  14:55
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 32-1 (6 overs)
Verhagen off the mark driving a fullish ball from Bhutta straight back past him for four. He’s gone in the next though, looking to work Diwan to leg and trapped in front. Heggelman in.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  14:43
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 23-0 (4 overs)
Etman twice drives Bhutta through point for four again, then lofts Diwan back over his head fopr four more in the next over. He’s on 21* off 18 now, Verhagen yet to score, though at this rate he won’t need to.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  14:35
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
Excelsior : 9-0 (1 over)
And they’re back on at Thurlede, Excelsior again off in pursuit of a rather lowly total. And again Tim Etman looks in a hurry, opening the face to take four off Bhutta through backward point, then driving staright for four more two balls later. Verhagen to face his first ball from Diwan from the other end.

 ACC vs Kampong  14:34
ACC : 225-8 (50 overs)
Van der Harten back to bowl the 49th, and McInerney steers him through backward point for four. But then Wegener tries to smack him over cover, gets under it, and is caught by Abhyankar. Rob Ackermann in for the finale, but in Malik’s last McInerney is stumped for 34 and Ackermann follows, bowled, two balls later, and it’s left to Mees van Vliet and Ammar Zaidi to finish it off, Zaidi being run out off the final ball. The ACC total is more than they made in two matches combined last week, so no doubt they’ll be reasonably happy at the break.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  14:21
Punjab : 169 all out (47.4 overs)
Another run-out off Gohil brings the innings to an end, Malik finishing with four for 21 and Gohil with two for 18. Punjab will need to bowl at their most parsimonious to earn the points here.

 Salland vs Voorburg  14:18
VCC : 281-4 (50 overs)
Potgieter finishes unbeaten on 82 off 43 deliveries with seven sixes, having entirely undone Salland’s early efforts at containment. 282 will be the target after lunch, a tall order indeed for the hosts.

 ACC vs Kampong  14:18
ACC : 207-4 (47 overs)
Twelve runs come off Nana’s over, the 46th, as Wegener and McInerney build on that platform. Another Roy no-ball is despatched to the boundary, but Wegener can’t take advantage of the free hit. Still, eleven off his last, and ACC are past 200.

 Salland vs Voorburg  14:13
VCC : 272-4 (49 overs)
Potgieter’s onslaught continues at Deventer, into the 70’s striking at 200 with six sixes to his name, de Grooth with him now, Boissevain having been nicked off by van Molen. One over to go, van Molen to bowl it.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  14:12
Punjab : 166-9 (46.1 overs)
Ahsan Malik returns to get Yasir Usman caught behind for 8, as Punjab’s collapse continues.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA  14:04
VRA : 260-9 (50 overs)
Abid and Nashier work a few more singles off the last two overs, and a hard run double off Seelaar last ball, but thanks to VOC’s regular wickets there is no explosion at the death. 260 remains a daunting score to chase at Hazelaarweg, but given VRA’s start the hosts can be reasonably pleased with their work in the second half of the innings. Nonetheless VOC will likely have to take more chances in the powerplay than they’d usually like too given how tricky things seem to get once the field spreads.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  14:03
Punjab : 166-8 (45 overs)
Saqib has been stumped for 63 by Raza off Gohil, who then runs Safiullah Salarazai out before he’s scored. It looks as if Punjab will be defending a relatively modest total at the Bermweg.

 ACC vs Kampong  14:01
ACC : 181-4 (44 overs)
Roy back from the River End to bowl the 43rd, but he only has three overs left and Malik may need to juggle a bit. Roy produces a beamer which eludes Alphonse and goes all the way to the boundary. Nana from the Uilenstede End, and he can bowl out. There’s a lot of improvisational stuff going on at the moment, but ACC are moving things along nicely, with Wegener lofting Nana into space at midwicket for another boundary.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   13:56
VRA : 250-9 (48 overs)
Lees has a crack at Seelaar and immediately regrets it, slog across the line and no connection with anything but the stumps. Abid last man with two overs to go.

 Salland vs Voorburg  13:53
VCC : 225-3 (45 overs)
Potgieter has come in and teed off at het Schootsveld, racing to 34* off 20 with three sixes already. There will be no century for Malan however, as Hashim Khan has him caught for 92. Boissevain in.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   13:52
VRA : 247-8 (47 overs)
Seelaar returns, Lees and Borren still happy to milk him for singles even at this late stage. Not so O’Dowd however, Lees going inside-out over cover for four first ball. Borren looks to emulate three balls later but doesn’t get it cleanly and is caught deep in the off side for 25. Nashier at nine.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  13:49
Punjab : 154-6 (41.3 overs)
A first Topklasse wicket for Samit Gohil: Sikander Zulfiqar out for 27, caught by Allen. Saqib, meanwhile, has gone on to 61*.

 ACC vs Kampong  13:47
ACC : 157-4 (41.1 overs)
And Smith’s gone for 21, clipping the returning Nana off his pads and very well caught by Cole Briggs at backward square. Charles McInerney in with the momentum shifting Kampong’s way.

 ACC vs Kampong  13:41
ACC : 153-3 (40 overs)
It’s all about the creation and denial of momentum at ‘t Loopveld, with Smith and Wegener, the latter just in, needing to get the scoreboard moving and Jacod and Malik doing their best to prevent it. Smith resorts to a reverse slog-sweep off Jacod which collects a boundary and helps things along, but the run rate’s still below four.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  13:40
Dosti : 105 all out (34.5 overs)
And an early lunch at Thurlede. Wahid Masood, who’s dropped down drom opening the batting to number 11 today, aims a big slog sweep at Baker and is caught in the deep. Diwan left unbeaten on a handy 22 off 24 but it’s unlikely to be enough to save Dosti’s blushes. Another low chase for Excelsior after the break.

 Salland vs Voorburg  13:37
VCC : 180-2 (40 overs)
And finally a wicket at het Schootsveld too, Gopinath has de Leede caught behind for 57. Potgieter in to join Malan, who’s closing in on his century.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   13:34
VRA : 211-7 (43 overs)
O’Dowd has another, Turmaine back in his crease and misses, into the pads and gone. Lees in to join Borren who’s on 16 off 28, VOC fighting back hard in this last phase.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  13:33
Dosti : 100-9 (34 overs)
Four more for Diwan, uses his feet to Baker, gets low and slog-sweeps over the on side for a one-bouncer, but Dosti lose another in the next over, Hoseinbaks flicking Rens van Troost straight to square leg. Diwan brings up the hundred hacking van Troost toward long on for one, but hard to see them making anything competitive from here.

 ACC vs Kampong  13:31
ACC : 140-3 (38.3 overs)
Another for the Jacod-Butt tag team, as Raza too goes after the spinner but lofts him only to long on. He goes for 55, and Fergus Wegener joins Smith.

 Salland vs Voorburg  13:27
VCC : 176-1 (39 overs)
The expected acceleration seems to have arrived, Malan into the eighties with a six off Lubbers, de Leede has his half-century too. Salland will do well to keep a lid on things in the next 11 overs.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  13:23
Dosti : 89-8 (32 overs)
Rens van Troost returns, back of a length first ball and pulled away for four by Diwan, but three balls later he has a wicket, Bhutta looking to guide it wide of the slips but not quite wide enough, great low catch from Ingram at second and gone.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   13:19
VRA : 192-6 (38.1 overs)
Rasool goes for 19, looking to help O’Dowd down leg and misses, struck high on the pad and the umpire reckons that would have clipped leg stump. Rasool’s already run the leg bye by the time he realises the finger’s gone up. Turmaine in to join Borren, and VOC threatening a comeback here.

 ACC vs Kampong  13:19
ACC : 133-2 (35 overs)
A half-century, too for Anis Raza, and with a solid platform for the first time in a long time, ACC will be looking to push on now. Raza’s on 55*, Smith on 3*.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  13:16
Punjab : 108-5 (35 overs)
Saqib Zulfiqar has moved on to 40*, and Punjab will need him to bat a lot longer here if they’re to set Sparta a reasonably challenging target, especially with Gohil now reinforcing the batting.

 Salland vs Voorburg  13:14
VCC : 150-1 (35 overs)
Malan finding some fluency now, on into the sixties and the 150 up for VCC now with 15 overs to go. De Leede still with him on 49*.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  13:10
Dosti : 78-7 (30 overs)
The collapse continues at Thurlede, Raji bowled playing across the line at Imgram, and Hans LBW to Heggelman on the front foot. Diwan and Bhutta now.

 ACC vs Kampong  13:09
ACC : 121-2 (31.2 overs)
A maiden Topklasse fifty for Shreyas Potdar, made from 105 deliveries, but then in the next over Jacod gets the long sought-after breakthrough as he tries to hit the spinner over mid-off and instead finds Shahreyar Butt, who takes a good overhead catch. He goes for 51, with Raza on 47* joined now by Robin Smith.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   13:04
VRA : 178-5 (34 overs)
Rasool whips Hoornweg away square for four, follwos it up with a wristy drive over mid on for four more. Singh finds the rope too two balls later flicking fine off the hip, but thopse will be his last runs as he sends up a leading edge on the next ball and Hoornweg barely has to move. Singh goes for 68, Borren in and Max O’Dowd into the attack.

 Salland vs Voorburg  13:02
VCC : 126-1 (30 overs)
Malan and de Leede have set a fine platform here, both closing in on half-centuries; Malan needing three more runs to get there and de Leede six. With wickets in hand this score could run up quickly when this pair decide to switch gears.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  13:00
Dosti : 76-5 (28 overs)
Tewarie gone too now, looks to leave a shorter delivery from Heggelman that jags back in and hits him, looked a shade high perhpas but Tewarie wasted no time departing. Hans in to steady things as best he can and Dosti’s good start a distant memory now.

 ACC vs Kampong  12:56
ACC : 111-1 (30 overs)
Up comes the century partnership, and back into the attack comes Alex Roy, the Man Most Likely To in a Kampong attack rather short on wicket-takers. A rather uppish pull gets Potdar to 49*, Raza on 40* as the total reaches Nelson.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   12:52
VRA : 157-4 (32 overs)
Singh goes to fifty driving van Wingerden through cover off the back foot, then hit his first six slog-sweeping Hoornweg over backward square, but two balls loses his partner, Dutt mistimes a cut and pops a simple catch to point for a 16. Rasool in at six and off the mark with a four through long on.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  12:49
Punjab : 79-5 (26.2 overs)
Joost Martijn Snoep gets a vital breakthrough, Nidamanuru caught by Rikus Allen for 25. Saqib Zulfiqar’s still there on 24*, joined now by brother Sikander.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  12:43
Dosti : 67-4 (24 overs)
Heggelman has Raja now, full and nipping in, struck low in front and the finger goes up. Raja deeply unimpressed, but his skipper at the other end reminds him now is no time for discussions. Raji in.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  12:43
Punjab : 73-4 (25 overs)
Nidamanuru and Saqib still hard at work, trying to get Punjab to a defensible total.

 ACC vs Kampong  12:38
ACC : 92-1 (26 overs)
Nana returns from the Uilenstede End, but the stand is now up to 87, with Raza still watchful on 32* and Potdar on his best-ever Topklasse score at 41*.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   12:35
VRA : 129-9 (27 overs)
Dutt down the track to van Wingerden and dumps him back over his head for six,.first boundary in some ten or so overs though that. The spinners have certainly put the brakes on for VOC here.

 Excelsior ‘20 vs Dosti  12:31
Dosti : 63-3 (20 overs)
Rahil Ahmed runs himself out to rather ruin a promising start, tucking Ingram to leg, half sets off, thinks better of it but slips in the turn. Tewarie in at five.

 Sparta 1888 vs Punjab  12:28
Punjab : 54-4 (20 overs)
Teja Nidamanuru and Saqib Zulfiqar now have the job of digging Punjab out of trouble; they’ve reached 14* and 10* respectively, but there’s a long, long way to go!.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   12:25
VRA : 113-2 (23 overs)
Nelson on the board, Seelaar returns and strikes immediately. A second South African scalp for him as Smal goes back to one he probably shouldn’t have and takes it on the pads dead in front. Aryan Dutt in to join Singh, who’s on 37*.

 ACC vs Kampong  12:24
ACC : 68-1 (23 overs)
A drinks break fails to break the partnership, so Malik turns to a sixth bowler in the person of Robert van der Harten. But the ACC pair continue unperturbed, although Van der Harten does almost get a fuller delivery through Potdar’s defences.

 Salland vs Voorburg  12:22
VCC : 76-1 (17 overs)
Malan still happy to take a back seat it seems, de Leede’s caught him up already, the latter on 23*, Malan still on 17*. van Molen and Paulbritto for Salland at the minute.

 VOC Rotterdam vs VRA   12:09
VRA : 102-2 (19 overs)
Schoonheim finds the second wicket, Scully miscuing to mid off for a simple catch and gone for a run a ball 32. Debutant Johan Smal in at four.

 ACC vs Kampong  12:09
ACC : 63-1 (20 overs)
Malik switches to the Uilenstede End, but Raza and Potdar are looking a lot more confident now, and they’ve moved on to 26* and 28* respectively.
